7 QUESTIONS WITH NEIL BECKETT (FARTHER OF TARGET)
Q.1 Welcome Neil to 7 Questions i’m Kirsty Watson. So for those who do not know you, you are the Father of our young Lion Cub and wrestling prodigy Target so tell us what’s it like being a wrestling Dad?
Hi Kirsty, Thank you for the invite really is a pleasure.
Being a wrestling dad is something that I would have never imagined of becoming and in all fairness it’s something I never realised I needed Love every moment of it , watching Harrison train and do his thing at shows is an amazing feeling.
Q2 – We all know that Target has took to wrestling like he was born to do it but tell us a little bit more about the young man behind the mask so to speak, Harrison….:
Harrison is a fantastic kid and has a great attitude to life in general, commits himself to everything he does, whether it be sport, school work or helping out around the house. He is slowly turning into a great young man and a real good role model to his younger sister and brother.
Q.3 – Harrison is also an avid footballer and by all accounts just as talented so here’s a question for you…… A Genie gave you two choices for H1. Premiership Footballer and captain of your beloved Spurs or 2. In the WWE and just about to headline Night 2of Wrestlemania You could only pick one career for him, which would it be!?
What a question…. However as far as my love for the mighty Spurs goes, seeing Harrison headline Wrestlemania would be something seriously special. Option 2 please.
Q4 – Target is currently in the midst of a storyline with our CPW Academy Champion Morgan Morris, Leo and BD Moon, they are doing some really compelling stuff aren’t they?
100%. All four are showing how strong the CPW Academy division is and feel this storyline is only just starting to cook. The last tag match at Lock n Loaded was brilliant.
Q.5 – If Target was competing amongst the Big Lions who would be your dream match for him from our CPW Rosters?:
If your ‘re going to dream, dream big!!! Get Target in a triple threat with Niall Fairchild and Tommbie (all the best Harrison )
Q6 -You are part of our amazing CPW Galaxy and you are all the best fans in the world, what would you say to any reader who is thinking of attending a CPW show in the future?
No need to think about it, honestly get yourself down to either the Haggard Centre or the Bell Green Social and become part of the CPW Galaxy. Great family entertainment, with a great wrestling atmosphere. All Superstars put on a show week in week out without fail. Shows will not disappoint.
Q6 – Tell us who would be on your CPW Mount Rushmore and why?
Absolute thinker this. Only being part of the CPW Galaxy for three years, I’m sure some would have more knowledge but here’s mine in no particular order..
- Bashby/Protest – He was Target’s 1st ever opponent, he looked after him well in the ring that night something I will cherish forever. Aside from that his in ring talent is up there with the best.
- Niall Fairchild – Never seen the champ in proper full flow due to injuries. But what I have seen has been class. Also an all round top bloke.
Emma Cross – Being called the Machine doesn’t do her justice. Proper competitor, love the never give up attitude with wrestling talent in addition
Mr Richards – Where would the Galaxy be without him!!! Enough said.
Q7 -Finally, are we ever going to see Father & Son Tag Team on a CPW Superstars Project Show!?:
This is a question that comes around quite a lot! Especially after a few drinks.
It is something I would love to do, but not sure my body would allow it (or my wife) Never say never !!!!
Thank you for your time Neil we look forward to watching Target blossom even more in 2024
Thank you for your time also. Yes couldn’t agree more. CPW CPW CPW
